How to Add GIFs to Your Google Slides Presentation
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Search for the GIF you would like to add
There are a few different ways to search for GIFs. You can use the Google search bar, or you can go to a website that specializes in GIFs, like GIPHY. Once you have found a GIF that you like, click on it to open it in a new tab.
2. Right click and Copy Image address
Once the GIF is open in a new tab, right-click on it and select "Copy Image Address." This will copy the URL of the GIF to your clipboard.

4. Select Insert Image > Search the web

5. Enter a keyword like "search term animated GIF" on the Google Search side panel
In the Google Search side panel, enter a keyword like "search term animated GIF." This will search for GIFs that are related to your keyword.
6. Go to Tools > Type GIF to filter the animated GIFs from the rest of the image types
To filter the animated GIFs from the rest of the image types, click on the "Tools" menu and select "Type." Then, click on the "GIF" checkbox.
7. Select the image and open it in its actual resolution
Once you have found a GIF that you like, click on it to select it. Then, click on the "Open in its actual resolution" button.

There is no admin control for this feature. This means that all users can add GIFs to their presentations.

10. Paste a URL with a GIF into the Insert Image menu in Google Slides
You can also add GIFs to your slides by pasting a URL into the Insert Image menu. To do this, click on the "Insert" menu and select "Image." Then, click on the "By URL" tab and paste the URL of the GIF into the box.
11. Find a GIF URL and then paste it into the box in the center
To find a GIF URL, right-click on the GIF and select "Copy Image Address." Then, paste the URL into the box in the center of the Insert Image menu.
